Central Cervecera launched a product on the market, with one of the brands that make up its portfolio. This is the launch of the new Heineken 0.0, which would be the brand’s first non-alcoholic drink.

This innovation already has a presence in 192 countries, and Colombia is the 104th country to receive the Heineken. The new product can be found in Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena, and is expected to have the same success as in countries like Mexico and Spain.

For the brand, this is one of its star releases of the year.

Even more so if one takes into account that, according to calculations by Statist, the global statistics portal, the global non-alcoholic beer market is expected to reach US$25 billion in 2024. Therefore, with this launch, Heineken, with 158 years of presence in the industry, will aim to reach 30% of the segment in the Colombian market.

“Arriving in Colombia with Heineken 0.0 will allow us to satisfy the need of the consumer who is looking for a truly 0.0% alcohol beverage at any time and place, without sacrificing the taste of beer. We understand the new consumption trend of all the people who prefer to Prime Drink beverages in different social environments” said Juan Roberto Garcia, president of Central Cervecera.

This presentation, in addition to being 100% alcohol-free, has the added value of maintaining the flavor of the original drink, as well as the quality that characterizes it.

“Heineken 0.0 is a beverage that is developed with the same ingredients as the original version, such as: barley malt, water, hops extract and type yeast, which is exclusive to this beer. The production process is the same as that of the original beer and is carried out in the Mesquite Heineken plant in the state of Chihuahua in Mexico, one of the most sustainable and modern in the world,” said the beer brand.
