Yogurt is a fermented milk. It’s extremely nutritious, and consuming it regularly can improve various aspects of your health. It is create through the heating of milk and then blending with live bacteria, Lactobacillus bulgaricus as well as Streptococcus thermophilus. It is a healthy bacteria, and is, in turn, the kind that helps keep our guts healthy. The warm milk creates the perfect environment for bacteria to grow, and thickens the milk and forming yogurt.
Buttermilk and yogurt are both alkaline food items, even though their pH is in the range of 4.4 to 4.8. Raw milk is an exempted food because it has the ability to be alkalized. It is unsafe to consume milk that has not been processed. It is not sour.
