The retailer already opened 22 Ross Dress for less stores and eight dad’ discount stores in 15 states and Guam in February and March. Those stores are part of Ross’ 100-store plan for this year, which includes 75 Ross and 25 DD locations. The retailer currently operates a combined total of 1,952 Ross Dress for Less and DD’s discount locations in 40 states, the District of Columbia and Guam.
“We recently increased our store potential targets for both Ross and DD’s Discount to 2,900 locations and do’s discount could be a chain of 700 stores, of consumers,” Greg McGillis, group executive vice president of property development, said in a statement Given our continued focus on value and convenience. The continued expansion of both our ranges also reflects our commitment to further enhance our presence in both existing and new markets.”
